First of all, I salute all readers of this blog.
Next, I salute ones who managed to have patience to read up to here.
Third, I salute the ones who reached on this page by mistake.
And also I salute all the rest of people, including ones never seen a computer in them life.

I`m so amazed about a certain “trend” I noticed lately, that I can`t even drink another (dark) beer. (actualy, I forgot to buy and I have none in my fredge, that`s for I can`t drink it .. )

What “trend” ? Writing shallow articles - xx% inspired by reading others work and taking that as “God sayd so” kinda - about what a blogger must or must not do.

So, I decided to “join the club”, there for, here I am, in the middle of trend. And no source of inspiration (for content) other than my opinions.

» Content of a blog or site is what decide if that blog or site is intersting and create the need to come back, again and again and again.
» Content is the one responsable for search engines`s rank of page(s) and, therefor, the blog - site “visibility”.
» ORIGINAL content often decide the reliability of writer (author).

» Very hard to come out with something new.
» Quality content require intersting subjects to be writed about.
» Not everybody is able to mask that he/she actually re-build otherone`s article.
» Misinterpretations caused by style, used language (english IS the most used language yet only two countries have it as main national language and those two countries population sum mean less than 0.1% of world population), local customs, personal belifs and so on.
» (Despite it can be placed on above category, on purpose I`ll mention this as distinct) Content output is the result of :
- what you want to say;
- what you actualy say;
- what others hear;
- what others understand;
- what others memorize. So, very easy a good intention can be seen as a bad will, lack of culture and so on, with negative meaning.

Conclusion :
» Content attract readers, visitors, SE spiders, money. Yes, content make the money, content direct the click toward an ad, link, banner, whatever. because readers of a blog are there because of content ..
» Content decide the number and value of your readers.
» Content is the factor deciding the quality and size of blogger`s community.
» While content rules, often people try to amaze others, using most often copy/paste or re-writing others work.
» Copy/paste mean broking the copyright laws. Period.
» Re-writing used only in rare ocasion, eventually with some specifications for the inspiration source, may not be quite bad. But use of this technique to amaze, to artificialy grow up image, that is highly imoral.

Funny stuff :
» If content is the king, who / where is the queen ?
» On right side (mean there »» ) you`ll find a ” Find the gender of your texts” link. If you`ll check one certain article and result is a “female” text, while the “content is the king”, what is the output : that specific text is a gay-text or a shemale-text ?

twO : Monetize your blog later or not at all

(Monetize - adding to blog, on different spots, certain money-making tools, as contextual ads, text/banner ads, affiliate links, review offers and / or anything else MAY put some money in your pocket, EXCEPT your own products)

» *Normal if you blog for a small - dedicated audience, if you plan to have the blog for anything but not make money (self sponsored).
» *Normal when the blog or site is to promote / sell your own products.
(* = for both examples, additional eventual income from third party sources are not needed)

» Adding advertising later would force you to make design changes. Often severe ones. More or less, those changes will return against you as visitors-readers leaving. Sound like “Ok, scumbags, is time for you to pay me some cash for the time you stay around”. Isn`t the same if ads are there from start ? No, because ones who DON`T want to cash-award you will notice the ads places and they`ll cease seeing them. You are honest, you point clear you want to get some coins out of your work, and you do that from day one. As the content would be focused on readers - visitors benefit, so would be ads. Both from day one. That mean proffesionalism, reliability, sincerity, stability = you are trustfull. period.
» To many ads added after, mixed with your allready loaded side bars`s (and maybe content space too) with widgets, awards and links, will make your blog - site look like a christams tree.
» “Avoid to monetize your blog at start” is a false issue generated by “guru”s (and continuosly promoted by others) as “divine answer - solution” to a universal problem : low or no income at beggining.

Conclusion:
» Is up to each one to decide if site - blog will be ever monetized or not and WHEN.
yet, I stronlgy recommed, in case you want to monetize it, to stick to some rules :
- contextual ads - 1-3 (maximum), keep clean spaces between ads and content.
- affiliate links : text links are highly recommended.
- banner ads : keep them in top, bottom or low bottom side(s) packs. No more than 3 packs; allow clean spaces around banner ads and rest of items. Do not use content space for banner ads. Keep banner small and less animated as possible. Widgets / iframes etc. are included in banners category too.
- sponsored reviews : max 5 - 6 in a month, several days between them “filled” with (quality) FREE content.
» BE PATIENT ! Ads will give you revenue, but not instant. May take months. Wait, be patient, offer GOOD QUALITY content, spoted on readers needs. Offer to readers FREE items, time to time. However, do not espect you`ll have decent income from ads before grow to a certain stabilized traffic.
