Finding your Niche Market: How to find the best niche for you.
There is so much more to this business than simple tactics and tricks. The first and probably the most important is your niche market.
What is a niche market?
A niche market is a focused, targetable portion of a market – is a narrowly defined group of potential customers. That’s the “dictionary definition,” but what does it mean to your business?
Well, it means everything!
Your “market” is simply the people who you want to sell your products and services to. For example, you might be working in the health and fitness market. Or you could be speaking to those interested in golfing.
The most successfuly way to determine the niche market for yourself require a small exercise.
But why is so important to first set this and why shoul you “personalize” it ?
Choosing the niche market is the foundation of building your business. Is the “constant” that indicate where your business will be on global market and allow to be eventually developed later to cover “neighbour” (related) niche.
Personalized ? Obviously, your business’s niche have to be related to your style, to something you are familiare whith, to your area of expertise, to something you most probably you’ll like to enjoy doing and not force yourself durring the process.
There are three main steps to this exercise.
