Newsletter (chapter five)
Wow ..
Is weekend again.
The only thing I know and looks to have eternity length is “The young and the restless” tv soap opera. I know peoples are ready to to tell everything about any of character from this movie. They follow every single episode, somehow like that would be a reality show or … another kind of “Big brother”. Adicted ? “The young and the restless”-coholics ? Hehe ..
They find themself, or a model. Others enjoy watching others`s “life” (signed by fact there are “Big brother”(-like) shows watchers.
Most of them choose one character and “live” along with it. Make them feel ALIKE.
On net, things going even further. Under anonimity offered by screen, keyboard and “that metal case with wires and processor”, anyone can be anybody. A kid plays adult, a boy pretend to be a girl, a girl sustain is a man .. each one can pretend to be whatever.
Together, all above, more or less, accepted or not publicly, they live another live.
sidenote
Sure, things are not so simple. Human nature is not designed to live twice simultaneously. (Well, there are exceptions, but outthere are medicine to cure that
)
What “Mother Nature” have to say about this ? Well, basics of human nature, beside curiosity (who lead to knowledge) and natural development of own race (which together with knowledge raise lead to global heating
), a main human characteristic is COMMUNICATION. Actually, I thing the proper word is intercommunication.
That characteristic-activity of human race is one responsible for also internet-second-life (virtual life). In fact, we should not forget that internet creation is about intercommunication. Information exchange. Talkings. Opinion exchange. Everything from the basic “How are you?” to complex video-confferences.
Is no surprise then, that the “scary” web 2.0 was inevitable. Human nature is aimed to intercommunication. Web 2.0 is aimed to intercommunication too. What`s so unespected, what is supernatural in this ? Nothing. This is one guy who had “see” this and writed about quite some long time a go ….
But .. then making money on net will be far more simple and efficient on web 2.0 age MWUAHAHAHAHAHA !
Yeah, sure …
In above link you could find why building a “great” social website then wait for one big “shark” to come to buy it is a dream. Here is why becoming member of one big social site is neither the way to become rich..
What the heck, then is hopeless ?
Yes, if you stay still waitin for money to come by themself and you opened 9 bank accounts for that.
No, is not hopeless if :
- you have a realistic goals;
- you setup a realistic plan to reach the goals one by one;
- you have your own domain and your own website;
- you must consider a number of utilities (autoresponder, link tracker etc.) and be able to operate them;
- you are open to work HARD and many hours, maybe more than in a regular “9 to 5″;
- you are solid minded and available to keep learning;
- you won`t give up if firsts results are dezastruos;
….
And, very important, do not forget the real life.
Becouse sometime wife / friends / husband / family / child(s) are FAR more important than any amount of money.
Your gracious (2 cents advices delivery guy),
Valentin
