Today i gonna wrestle more a guy than his blog, career or actions.

In fact, my original intention was to share with you some audio stuff.
Later, I wonder if anyone hear about the guy – not that he may not be known, but more coz not everyone is into self-empowering and stuff.

So, who is he ?
Is a guy from Singapore. Needless to know more, yet even from where he is detail is technically useless.
Who cares where Columbus was born ? Matter he discovered Americas.

So about Adam Khoo :

When I was eight, I was expelled from school for misbehavior and my parents had to go round the country begging other primary schools to let me study …

I did so poorly for my primary school leaving examinations that I was rejected from ALL the secondary schools of my choice …

Not only was I poor in studies, I was also physically weak and mentally lethargic. I had poor social skills, I was bored, indifferent and soon I was labeled as a ‘problem student’ …

I joined the boy scouts in an effort to learn valuable skills and widen my social circle but after only six months, I was thrown out of the club …

… I really began to think I was born lazy, slow, unmotivated, maybe even stupid.

Like most troubled teenagers, I soon found myself addicted to the TV and video games.

Man, you gotta love this guy !
No kidding ! At 26 he earn his first million !

Yo, people.

When I created the blog-wrestling category, I have promised to myself to respect my readers and commenters “health”. There for, I decide is not a good way to use this category to write about same site/blog/post twice in a row. Even more, to avoid repeating to charge same site/blog/post durring same month.

So, this week post under this category is a great challenge for me to choose.
I use to make a list of 3 to 5 “things” suited to be subject for this category and choose the one I feel is most important.

There for, while last week I have allready writed about John Chow, I`m forced to select another something …

Difficult choice, belive me ..

Well, people, I have to tell you first that this guy is not what seems to be right now. Was a time when he had a weekly newletter announcing also blog updates.
Lately, he become lazy.
In fact, I think he is probably busy :

I haven’t written for awhile because I’ve been working almost 24/7 on The Next Internet Millionaire

Yet, Eric, I do not care ! You should have found a way to make room for few words ..

In fact, this guy is great.
His blog is about marketing, but reflecting his position, his style, he write about what he think, how he see things, he promote (and/or review) only products in wich he is involved or products he own. Also, as you can see, no ads, no adsense, no kontera, no “review me for one billion dollars” shit.

Eric Holmlund is playing his cards, as internet marketer.

And he plays fair. His reviews are truth based and his posts are clean. He use to answer to comments (maybe not to often lately, yet he may have “The Next Internet Millionaire” contest as excuse for now…

Eric is one of very few internet marketers who dare to stand up for truth spelled about internet marketing, products, gurus, sites and so on.

And he is a real guy, one of firsts who dare stand up and finger-point myspace.

I hardly can wait the moment he will come back and restart his weekly posts ..

Looking only at the title, you may think I drink to much and I start blogging about dogs.
No sir. No madame.
Yes, I have drink some (see 3-d and 4-th paragraphs on left warnings), yet blogging about dogs is not something wrong or weird ..

Blog-wrestling is sort of unrequested reviews of certain blogs or sites. And allways count on “reviewed” people`s sense of humour.
While review is not dedicated to “be nice”, “grab his money” and shit. And, of course, “blog-wrestling” is open to be commented pro and counter ..

So, here we go :

John Chow. Who is he, why is he breathing same “air” with us, internauts, what he have to say, worth consider him ?

I won`t answer to those questions, but anyone may answer to them in comments (btw, anonymus comments will vanish; I mean ALL comments who does not have email and link back to commenter site)

So, once I reach on his blog, some time a go, I was forced to say “Who is John Chow anyway”, thing I recall I have writed in a comment.

On top, clean links. Nice.
Next, nice 2 car (same ?) pictures. I love that car but I wouldn`t dare to dream to have one – I don`t like that color .

Then comes a nice adsense optimized template, kontera (maybe) and very few other ads. A right column with 2 areas where many people would like to see them own links ) (Featured Sites and Links)

What the fuck ? Where are the archives ?

Google Loves Dot Com moguls

It’s no secret that Google has been one of the secret to my success on the net. If Google hadn’t come along after the dot com crash, I wouldn’t be a dot com mogul anymore.

Again “mogul” ..

Mogul may mean:
-Mogul is a powerful business leader also known as a Business magnate (person who has reached a prominent place in a particular industry (or set of industries) and whose wealth has been derived primarily therefrom)
-Horwich Mogul, a class of mixed traffic 2-6-0 steam locomotive built between 1926 and 1932
-LMS Stanier Mogul, a class of 2-6-0 mixed traffic steam locomotive (built 1933-1934)

Wanna bet he was not thinking to himself as being a locomotive, a lamp nor a top secret project ?

Well, he offer also a free e-book.
The offer is very visible specially to people are very carefully reading everything, else is right under the big “gimme 400$ to review you” pic. Yes, the one on top right. Nice pic. If the site would belong to me, I would “put” a blank space between “reviewed by me” pic and e-book offer, as is next bellow that … leaving the rss feed thing there, maybe a bit of distance (a br thing) between rss-feed and pic …

Also I would loose the bottom “buy me a beer” on right side. Everybody know writing a blog is hard work (when you MUST do it and lack of inspiration) or something you like doing (then even the pic from “if you liked …” is nicer than one in right-bottom). At least change the glass with a cup of coffee and say coffee instead of beer in text ..
then things would be in a normal schedule :
- need to write an article
- grab a coffee
- write it (the article, not the coffee)
- publish it (same as above )
- have a beer for your style
Didn`t this way sound more logical ?
You don`t want to follow my way – drink, write, after grab a coffee to be able to read and corect .. ((-:

Basicaly, blog appearence is optimized to be easy to surf/watch/read and give no “quiz”. Nothing outstanding. You get what you espect to get from a biz optimized-standard place. No surprises. Lot of adoration in comments, large number of followers.

There is a saying : to much adoration, quickly received and easy accepted, is a sign of weakness for both sides ..
Only you, in front of yourself-playing-rolle-of-judge can know if you “easy accept” veneration ..

Is John Chow a guru ?
