TODAY`S ASYMETRICAL SPHERE

When talk about earth, people use to say about it`s shape is “round like an orange”. Is good people say that comparison is about orange`s shape (round), while orange is … orange and Earth is green, blue and brown(*) areas.

Well, yes, earth is round, for a shallow viewer. Else, looking at a Earth globe, while set the north-south line as diameter, on far right would be Tibet (and Everest mountain) while on far left would be ocean … Don`t tell me that is symetrical.

In people`s minds, we allways associate round shape with symetrical shape. Is a product of people education, sending them to attempt make general rules, universal available. Most of times, things work like that and that only encourage people to make more attempts to become general.

Let`s move our attention to another “symetrical” shape – blogo-sphere. Is it symetrical ? Yes, becouse is a sphere. No, becouse is about people, who are sure not identical (remember Tibet height ? Is it same like the flat ocean ?).

I want to be clear understood : I`m not posting a critique to THIS GUY, nor to THIS POST. Is just an attempt to put out another point of view (where is case) or to make things funny

Here we go :

What a lot of people tend to forget, however,
is that there are best practices for everything, including blog commenting.

Here are the Ten Commandments Of Blog Commenting:

1. Read before you write –

Holly tomato ! How can one read BEFORE writing ?
Actualy, is about review the post before submit. Well, very true, is a “must do”, it gives a note of professionalism .. in this VR full of abbrs, where is easyer to use “shortcuts” and say 10s to ppl ..

Is just me, or this sound like a vague form of use of a false image ? Why this sound to me is alike the usual “hidding behind a nickname” ?

2. Be Polite –

Agree, but for a different reason :
Close friends are not allways quite polite, in language I mean. Between friends, being a bit on flame (see bellow) area is often accepted as a regular behave. I would call that “intimacy”.
That is wrong ? No and yes. Why yes ? Coz familiarity in language between author and commenters may encourage other commenters to be alike or, sometime, to stop commenting while they may “feel” not to come between close friends before is allready accepted as ..

However, author should accept a doze of familiarity from commenters, overpolitness sometime endanger a future friendship and often indulge a false image.
Be polite, but not overpolite.

3. Smile –

Sure thing, posting emoticons (images or typed equivalences), increase the chances of better understanding of meanings.

The risk is that emoticons to be missunderstood or, whorst, to be part of weapons for a false image …

4. Contribute –

Is a question of taste, for both author and commenter.
Author : I know lots of people who`ll preffer to have a big figure as number of comments, even if most of them are simple “yes”, “Agree”, “Well said” and so on. They want to know WHO really read the post … maybe …
Commenter : If one is agree, fully, that one may feel to give a support for the idea-message “broadcasted” thru the post. What would be the use to re-write same things allready posted ? Maybe is just me, but often, commenters are people agreeing author points of view ..

5. Don’t be condescending –

Biensure, je suis d`accord. Something sound wrong ? RANT ! RAGE ! CRY !

The “problem” is the amount of “nice” for the way. If things attack one`s deep belifs …

6. When in doubt, ask –

“Yeah, and put me in light to look like an idiot …”
Mwuahahahahahahahahahaha

Childs are NOT idiots. But they keep asking out, sometime imposible questions. With the time, thru education, people use to avoid to ask details, to not look like foolish.

As I`m fan of self-education, I`ll say a big yes to asking to get out of doubts.

7. Make a good impression –

This is heavyly under the pressure of (2) and (4). Often, creativity is in charge for a good impression, more than find meaningfull things to write about a subject …

If for author, is sometime difficult to find good challenging subjects to post about, the commenter “job” is often as well hard. Actually, is author “feature” to let “escape windows” for commenters ..

8. Never flame –

Well, here we are …
I`ll start here with a small sidenote :

What the heck is a flamer ? What is a flame ? Is it flame and flamer ALLWAYS and OBVIOUSLY rude and insulting ?
If take the “deffinition” from certain sites (as wikipedia), flamer is tha bad guy who have to be smashed with an axe, twice.

Terms “flame” and “flamers” were way disvalued and some people were rejected from different places becouse of this. I would compare it with the wrong disvaluation of “hack” and “hacker”.

Maybe is just me, but ALLWAYS a flamer would find a way to bring a smile faster than a so called “regular”.
I have administred a flame forum and I tell you, guys, is no difference from a “regular” forum, except is free language and far far harder to moderate.

There for, if “Never flame” is about “never insult”, then that`s the true, but mark the fact flame and insult are not about same thing, and will never be.

Flame, as I see it and understand, is a state of facts, is related to intimacy, is ALLWAYS friendly.

9. Humor goes a long way –

Shit, people, humans come in this world weeping, born naked and hungry. Things goes whorst later, so why don`t people replace at least the weep with a healthy laugh ?

Life stinks ? HAHAHAHA
Life is short ? HOHOHOHOHOHO
Laughing make poeple be fat ? Mwuahahshahahahahahhahahahahahhahaha

The best joke I know I never tell it to nobody. I save it and I`ll say in minute before I`ll die. So, if you wanna rolling on the floor laughing, be with me that time. Of course, you`ll have to pay for my funerals, naturaly, why do you ask ?

DO NOT, NEVER, BUT NEVER GO BACK !

8 Check the comment for .. no, not for outrageous misspellings, but to see what else you can add (relate to other commenters, for example)
9 Read your comment and ..
10 .. if you think author and / or others would appreciate your comment, hit the submit button; else, close the page and check the blog again later.
