a site got fever
J. R. announced he`ll leave the “space”.
Well well .. J. R. pointed he`s going to sell it for some very objective reasons - moving off to a no-internet area.
Don`t rush there to buy the .. site ? domain ? both ? .. because he allready posted a comment it have been sold in less than an hour. For some cash, thinking he asked originaly one tousend two hunderths fifty dollars. “Why so cheap ?” he ask himself and also answered here.
It waas in my plans to wrestle the blog while I noticed some things I really didn`t enjoyed. One of them was the announcement of a new site which I personaly largely disliked. For good reasons, I think.
One main reason to dislike would be the outrageous amount of advertising on those pages.

Compare it with this “site rank” (is on my site since a month or so, see the right bar under the “five4all” on top), effective the very same script. But really free to use.
Next, he “give away” a very usefull tools for .. spamers :

Now, ok, the guy is full of willing to make money online.
yet, a new issue would come out from his last action : certain ads on sitever dot come may be paid allready for a certain amount of time. The one paying the cash maybe counted more on showing his ads on a content based decision - reff to J. R. style of content - which is not impossible considering the fact the site is promoted as having only 11 weeks age … new owner may not follow same “road” …
However, it seems jurney is over. The link will dissappear from my left “blogroll” within a day or maximum two, as was anyway in “alert” list because of default comments-in-email-automatic-subscription (btw, do those count for those +300 subscribers ?).
Good bye, John Robinson, have a nice trip and enjoy your next time in the woods or Peru, I hope you`ll be fishing in Amazon and send me some pics
ps : I don`t know why, but mention (in “end-of-the-road” post) that he sitefever dot com was featured on John Chow`s blog make me think I know who buy it and how-why that happen so fast
