Ok, this title may sound at least hillarious after my comments here. Just keep reading ..

Is worldwide well known that once something going wrong, there is going to be an investigation about. What was the reasons, what gone wrong, what haven`t been done right ..

If a plane crash, if a bridge fall, if a building colapse .. and so on. Once a certain event happen, soon after a comitee make a deep study and comes back with some results who`s gonna make things safer next time.

Well, yes, may not look quite ok that this allways happen after some people die. Any and each of us will keep crossing the street on red color or on unmarked places, until we see with our veryown eyes some blood….

But this is not the issue.

You`ll think that I want to point my finger against the lack of preventing work ..

No, sir. No, madam.

My finger point to a recent case of a fact wich KEEP HAPPENING world wide, while no “final report” was not released or never respecte.

If one human being die working in a factory or in construction or wherever, in long terms, I mean if not instant, then sooner or later, working conditions become more or less safer.

But not allways.

Few days a go, a media bomb exploded in face of humans. A 32 years woman died. Obviously, death was coused by … working. Stress, exhaustion.
In the field of work of this young women, are ages since peoples die, very few, indeed, but .. despite eventually reports, they keep die.

Shortly :
- This poor girl was an workochoolic. So what ?
- NOW, AFTER she died, coleagues say they saw she dramatically lost weights latelly, that she use to overwork, that she has no personal life …
- Her boss will never be able to prove he try to stop her from overworking.
- “I want to be SOMEBODY !” seems it was her goal … with ANY PRICE ?
- AFTER this young woman died, peoples from same domain as her suddenly remember that during last 12 months were several similar cases, not only in Romania …

Well .. think again .. the extramoney and so called “better social position” will require even more of you time to be sacrified too …
RE-evaluate your last 6-12 months activity … how much time you spend with your family ? With friends ? When you was watching last time a live show, concert or sport match ? When did you was last time in middle of nature doing nothing but enjoy it ? When was last time you gave attention to only your hobby ? Do you remember the smell of a forest ?

Recently I start face, more and more, the “benefits” of anti-smoking campaign. “Smoking can kill”. Sure, as well as walking on street, replacing a bulb, flying, practicing a sport, travelling .. even breathing can kill, consider the polution level ..
No, I don`t recommend start smoking. To anyone. Then, why should I be target of “Stop smoking” recommandations ?

Human beings have a terrible pleasure to see violence. Box, fights, wrestling, rugby, american football, judo .. just few of direct related sports. Football (soccer), handball, basketball and others are more and more related to force and less to technique of playing.
I watch this “changes” with full interest.
I want to be first to notice when force will become decisive to designate world chess champion.

I assume I`m far from being on top smartest human beings. Stil, I`m sure i`m not lower than average, both for intelligence and stupidity.

Recentlly I involved into a small “action” against someone named Tim O`Reilly and his “idea” to be introduced a “code of conduct for bloggers”. Why I didn`t ignore that ?

Becouse that “code” has, in all 3-4 variants offered, some unacceptable points. Some gone in time, but few were still there ..

Let`s start with lower one :
In the long col of comments, there was somebody asking to Tim O`Reilly to forget about debate and to use his influence to persuade some “big boys” to act in direction of implementing this code. I wont mention guy`s name, but I must point that his advice is far more dangerous than idea … becouse in essence, what he said was “Forget the mass of foolish, just do it.”. In most polite way possible, I`ll nominate the guy for the “Most rude human being of the year” title.

Next, is about assuming responsability for others`s comments content. Jeez ! I`ll try to demolish this with and attempt-metaphore :

Tim, since yestarday, I denied that sky is blue becouse I`v seen above me only grey sky. Today I see for the first time is blue. Is me the one guilty for the grey sky ?

To not be forget : englis is most used language worldwide on internet, but this does not mean everybody use it proper. As before metaphore, until yestarday I didn`t know what a word or an expression (may also) mean. So I leave it on my blog. There for ones nominate my blog as “all goes”. But .. I didn`t know that is offensive. You see, that`s for I keep saying is not an USA problem, and you kept carying on as one. Is worldwide, peoples use english online but around them they hear another language …

I have an online friend, in US, Michigan. Never meet him real life, but we chat often. We share ideas, informations, opinions. Is a cool guy, open minded, I really enjoy the chat everytime.
He is, on my opinion, my friend.
Despite I have attacked you, one moment we may reach to a point of free nice chat also. I may reach to conclusion you`re also cool guy, as my friend from Michigan. Then one day I`ll tell you that.

As for second place in top, here comes the badge issue. I have asked several times but I didn`t get any answer :
Badge for good nice supercivilty blogs;
Badge for blogs where owners decide “all goes here”.
Here O`Reiily`s code stops.
Why ?
There are 2 more categories … ones who would SOMETIME allow slang; ones who`ll reject idea of badge. What about them ? huh ? Are you the one who`ll guarantee that those last 2 categories wont be appreciate as “dangerous” in blogs who have the first badge (”only nice talk please” ones) ?
On the other hand, do you know flamers psyhology ?
Is well known you can`t be a good cop before be a good tief. Sure “here is nice” badge won`t attract more bad guys ? Solution is to contact them personally ? Sure ? it takes 2 mins to setup a free email account … not to mention that blogger and attacker may live 12,000 miles away onr from other …

I am a flamer. I used to be frecventlly, more or less, active in different flame forums. I even had one my own flames forum. I am a real life flamer too. Still maybe I`m different from what peoples think is a flamer. Still peoples have no idea what is a flamer. Use of words (RL or VR) to make fun on somebody IS flame. I urge one who never did it, to throw the stone !

Flamers are yet, many kind. Some nominate the whorst of them as “trolls”. Refference to those who have a total lack of commun sense and civilty. Then, would a “badge” be the thing who`ll keep them away from posting ? C`mon, let`s behave as adults … a sign on a blog/forum, wont stop them. The proposed code will, then, charge the blogger for missbehave .. unless he`ll stay online 24/7 to keep deleting comments .. while loose visitors, time and health, you agree to charge bloggers even more ?

On top, number one fault of O`Reilly`s “code” is … the “code” himself.
The idea, the hidden meaning, is ok, is good, is to be promoted.
The way is full wrong. There is no way in no circumstances that BLOGGERs (blog owners) to be found guilty. No way and never to be accepted that bloggers to face freedom of speach limitation.

Is logic and normal that, if one start opposing to an idea, to a project, to also come with another idea / way / proposal.

So, what do we have :
- bloggers, who are all entitled to have a nice atmosphere inside them virtual home;
- bloggers, who are all also entitled to “live”, in them virtual home, safe and protected against agressions, no matter what kind of agression;

- enemies, from small spamers to high threatening bad-bad peoples (among those last ones are included also some who are able and/or willing to harm others also in real life);

- blogs, the scripts who are the virtual homes, which are actually 2 type : A) hosted individually and B) hosted into a large “community” (blogger, yahoo and so on).

To convince “enemies” to leave them way to be and, as result, a better world , that is utopy. Fiction. Fairy-tales.
To reduce freedom of speech of bloggers is, obviously, unacceptable.

Then , there is only one way left : The script !!!

Asking / enforcing the blog (forum) scripts maker to introduce built in facilities, able to give to users tools (defending weapons) to keep enemies actions under control. At this moment, bloggers`s defence is “allow comments only after moderation”, “disable comments”, disable anonimus comments”. Not enough, obviously.
Blogs, no matter if individual hosted or part of a larger hosting under cover of a big site, should offer certain tools to allow the owner to react, if necessary. Up to tracerouters and uncover anonimus proxy. But … FREE ! No charge. No extra charge for that.

Outthere are 3-5 large used blog scripts and about same number of forum scripts. That mean to persuade 10-20 .. 50 small groups of programmers – hosting Co.s to offer to users of them scripts to have access to defence tools. Is much easier and far better to convince 1000 (sure exagerated figure) peoples to build / add some tools to blogs script. Far better than enforcing millions of bloggers to accept more responsabilities while suffer freedom cut off …

ps : If someone would think that the sophisticated-powerfull deffence tools would become attack weapons once a bad guys can reach those tools with a simple script download … well, be easy, bad guys use powerfull tools since long before …
